Click on pictures to enlarge them Our shower door hinges allow the glass to fit tight to the wall. 1/16" - 1/8" Gaps between the shower door glass and the wall are determined by how straight your wall is.  It is very important that you convey to your tile contractor that the wall be as straight as possible.  If the wall is not plumb or level, it is no big deal.  The straightness is the most important.  Our shower door hinges are designed so that the glass can be notched tightly around the shower door hinge. Notice the gap in the pictures are minimal.  We get a lot of customers that are concerned that the bull-nose will hit the shower door glass when it is open. The picture on the left is the distance between the shower door glass and the wall, while the door is open.
